One way to beat the winter blues is to take a walk through St. Petersburg's historical downtown. That's exactly what we did in early March, with Katerina as the the tour guide. Sure, it was a little cold, but on the upside no tourists! First stop, Nevsky Prospekt, The Gostiny Dvor, Kazansky Cathedral,
Church on Spilled Blood, The Winter Palace...well, you get the picture. A beautiful girl showing off her beautiful city...somehow that makes the day a little brighter.
