Mariya studies her younger partner, knowing Juliette's next response with catlike intuition. She looks deep into her eyes. They're kind and trusting. Juliette and Mariya are each very different, yet together they work beautifully. Part of that is due to Mariya's gentle nature, the other part is Juliette's ability to completely trust the touch of a new found friend.
