Long before cell phones, mobile networks, and the internet, the land line was your live link to the outside world. It had no camera or video function, but the connection it made had a way of stimulating the imagination like no other. The land-line hasn't disappeared, but in a turbulent sea of wireless, digital alternatives it has lost a lot of its clout and appeal. In a nostalgic way, Amelie brings it all back in a beautifully produced series of Jan Svend photos, just in times for Valentine's Day.
