Masha's always liked the high country. That's hard to find around St. Petersburg, a city built on a large river delta. It's as flat as flat can be. Whenever possible, Masha likes to cross the border to Finland. There you'll find large forests of spruce-covered hills, small mountains with rocky spines to scramble around on for hours, often without seeing a another person all day.
